As a senior nursery lead/teacher, you will take on the role of providing quality education for our pupils under the guidance and supervision of the headteacher in charge.
Requirements:
- Higher education certificate or working towards one
- OR 2 years experience working as a teacher
- Passion for the care, teaching and development of children
- Flexible to work from 7:45am-3pm Monday-Friday

We're open to those who may not have worked in teaching previously but who have a passion for the care, teaching and development of our little ones.

- Willingness to work hard and undertake relevant qualifications

Primary School Teacher

Primary teaching is an extremely rewarding career, guiding pupils through the vital early stages of their educational journey. Our primary teachers prepare pupils with the academic and personal skills they need to flourish in secondary schools and beyond. Working with children aged 5-11 years, you'll use your knowledge and enthusiasm to inspire children, helping them enjoy learning, build confidence, and take pride in their achievements.
Requirements:
- SSCE: 5 grades (A-C), including English, Maths, and Science
- Undergraduate: education degree or a degree in any subject and HND
- In-school teaching experience from placement or previous TA roles
- Fluent level of English, spoken and written
- Experience working with different age groups is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for primary education and child development
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons meeting national curriculum guidelines
- Create interactive learning experiences for pupils of all abilities
- Use diverse teaching methods including group work, independent research, and play
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a respectful learning environment
- Organize educational activities, outings, and after-school clubs
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and development
- Communicate effectively with parents about student progress
